Change lives, boost the success of a human being and train people as integral athletes are main part of the foundations of our house. At Lozano-Altur Academy we are feeling proud thanks to the presence of two brilliant representatives as Sara Errani and Igor Andreev, who represented their country’s this weekend in the Fed Cup.
Around the planet there was a lot of action and in Russia, specifically in the CSKA Indoor Track and Field Complex, the group led by one of our alumni, Igor Andreev, got a convincing 4-0 victory against the Italy of our Sara Errani, who defend her flag one more time, where a position in the World Group was disputed.
Andreev, who has been under the guidance of José Altur since he was 14 years old and reached the 18 spot in the ATP rankings, has shown all his wisdom while successfully managing the women’s national team to return his nation to the top. Andreev played in the professional circuit until 2013 when the injuries forced him to hang the racket.
On the other hand, Errani fought in the doubles match and left everything in court. The Italian player began his relationship with the other director of our academy, Pablo Lozano, 16 years ago. A successful relationship that continues today after huge successes such as ten WTA titles, a Grand Slam final in singles, Roland Garros, and five Majors titles in the doubles modality.
Our shield continues to travel the world, our name grows and we witness proud as our legacy grows.
